What counts as a call?

Not all HTTP responses count toward your monthly quota.

Counts

• Successful responses (2xx) — and redirects (3xx).

Does NOT count

• 4xx errors, e.g. 400 bad request or 404 not found.
• 401 Unauthorized and 403 Forbidden (auth/access errors).
• 429 Too Many Requests (rate limit or quota).
• 5xx server errors on our side.

Batch

A call to a batch endpoint (Pro and Enterprise, up to 100 lookups per call) counts as one call. If you instead upload a CSV file with batch upload in the dashboard, each row counts as one call.

In short: you only pay for responses you actually benefit from. Errors and rejections don't count.
