The energy label in the reports
1 min read
If the building has an energy label from the Danish Energy Agency, the reports use it:
- The property report has a page on the energy label: the class, how long it is valid, the energy consultant's improvement proposals with investment, saving and payback, the calculated energy cost and CO₂, and how well the roof, walls and floors are insulated.
- The roof and solar report shows how well the roof and loft are insulated (the U-value) and the label's proposals for the roof, loft and solar panels.
- The hazardous materials check links the label's proposals to the building parts the work touches — and shows the substances to check first. Replacing the windows in a house from 1965, for example, means PCB in joints and double glazing.
The energy label is also shown on the address page under the Building tab.
Good to know
- The figures are from the time of labelling — the label describes the building as it was then, not later alterations.
- If the building has no energy label, the report says so. The reports do not make a new label — that requires an energy consultant.
