Why can't I buy a report for my address?
1 min read
We check the address before you can pay and only sell the reports the registers have enough data for. Otherwise you get a link to the free information about the address instead.
The property report
- The address must have exactly one dwelling with an area. If you search for a stairwell with several flats, choose the specific flat (with floor and door) — otherwise the report would describe the whole building.
- The address must have a coordinate.
- Of year built, cadastral plot, public assessment, heating and the building outline, at most one may be missing.
The roof and solar report
- Only made for houses: farmhouse, detached, terraced or semi-detached house — not flats.
- The building must have an outline in the GeoDanmark elevation data — the roof calculation is based on it.
- If a whole row of houses is registered as one building, the roof cannot be calculated for your house alone.
The hazardous materials check
- Made for residential buildings, including blocks of flats (it then covers the whole building).
- Requires the year built (the risk of asbestos, PCB and lead is based on it) and the cadastral plot (soil contamination is looked up on it).
When you look up the address, you see what the registers hold about that building. If BBR is wrong, the owner can have it corrected by the municipality. If you think the address should be able to get a report, write to support@danskadresseapi.dk with the address.
